Well... I'm compelled to answer this question with an emphatic, "Right here!". But we're not that pushy. Most of our visitors come to PremiumComparisons.com for our no-bias approach after all. So I would have to answer this question with some questions of my own, I suppose. For instance:
I'm not being difficult here... I'm just trying to illustrate that there's more to term life insurance than just one or two of the above factors. Most people focus heavily on price and don't realize they're missing out on some other very important features of a term life insurance policy.
So when you're looking to get the best term life insurance quote, make sure you take advantage of the wealth of online information as well. Hopefully, you'll find our site's a good start in your quest.
It is possible to bundle all of the above points into one policy from one company. You should know however that getting all of these features together won't necessarily mean you'll sew up term life insurance from the provider with the rock bottom price.
For instance, when shopping for the best term life insurance quote, you'll find that your options differ when you're looking for more or less than $250,000 in coverage. In other words, if you're looking for more than $249,999 in coverage, the best term life insurance quote will likely differ from the best term life insurance in amounts less than that.
A case in point... American General (a carrier we frequently use as an example on our site) offers breaks on a cost per thousand basis beyond face amounts of $249,999. They are competitively priced in this range, have excellent financial strength (they're one of only a handful of carriers with an A++ rating from A.M. Best), offer an Accelerated Death Benefit at no extra charge, allow conversion of their plan to age 75, premiums and face amount remain level for the entire term you choose, and their underwriting is smooth and fast. They're not always the cheapest though. They're close... but quite often, other companies find ways to undercut them slightly with respect to premium. But given the other factors that should be involved in a term life insurance purchase decision, I would deem them the company with the best term insurance quote most of the time when looking for more than $249,999 worth of coverage.
Below the "$250K" benchmark, other carriers come to mind. Most of them will be A to A+ rated and they'll have lower premiums (sometimes quite significantly lower). But you're going to be giving something up for those low premiums. Slower underwriting, weaker conversion options, and the possibility of premiums that will not remain level for the entire term to name a few. But ING Reliastar, Genworth and West Coast Life Insurance Company are solid company choices in the below $250K category and the savings from these companies can help make good justification from a price perspective for going with one of them.
The bottom line is that most carriers with an A rating or above are worthy of consideration. But understand that you don't have to settle for "A" when you get A+ or A++ for a $1 to $5 more per month (or sometimes the difference is this small annually) and get all of the best features and service to go along with your term life insurance plan.
So "best term life insurance quote" should refer to the whole package. Make sure you have all of the information you need to make a good decision and that you're not giving up the best company for the best price.
